Max Sanz was born on April 24, 1992 in a community in the Sierra Norte from State of Oaxaca, Mexico. Since he was very young he showed a taste for what would be his passion, the plastic arts.
At age of 12 he entered the "Rufino Tamayo" workshop in the city of Oaxaca, thanks to the determined support of the then director, Maestro Juan Alcázar. It is there where he met Master Marco Palma who initiated him in sculpture and later it is Master Barry Head who teached him painting, throughout his professional training has had the fortune of having different teachers, but those who had the most impact on him are three, Master Barry Head, Master Marie José Lavín and Master Francisco Castro Leñero.
Along with this learning in a particular way with their teachers; takes different workshops at Centro de las Artes de San Agustín Etla such as: Poster design workshop given by maestro Leonel Sagahon, dry tip workshop taught by Maestro Fernando Sandoval, Critical production workshop taught by master Francisco Castro Leñero and Sculpture workshop of small and medium format taught by Master María José Lavín Moroto; studied Bachelor of Arts and Humanities in CEDART "Miguel Cabrera and later studied Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Bauhaus University of the City of Puebla where he graduated.
He has exhibited individually since 2010 and his exhibitions are: "Between Apolo and Dionisio" at the Mupal, "Rojo Circo" at Monte Albán Gallery of Oaxacan House of Culture, "Dreams and lying of the circus" at the H. Congress of the Union in Mexico City, "Circo Urbano" at the Plaza de las Estrellas Gallery in Mexico City, "Milagros de circo" at the Pino Suarez metro station in Mexico City, "Presencias" at the H. City Hall of Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, "Codes and signs" at Oaxaca Alternative space workshop, "The smell of color does not get out of my eyes" at the Torre Mayor of Mexico City, "The saints", at CANACO Oaxaca," Mezcalomaquia " at the H.
